These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at www.blackberryrecycling.co.uk
By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Using this website indicates that you accept these terms regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us or order from us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this website.


Brand new boxed:

Each mobile phone sold should match the make and model in the sale order and meet the following conditions:

• Be in the original genuine box and match the imei number on the box.
• Not have any marks / scratches on the phone at all.
• Not have any personal data and call times in the phones memory
• Be complete with the phone, battery, mains charger and manual.
• The Phone must also be a genuine mobile made by the relevant manufactuer i.e Not a fake one made in china!
• Be in perfect working order and basically look like a brand new boxed phone.
• The Mobile phone must also not be registered as lost, stolen or barred (for any reason including non payment) on any world wide network, we check phones by www.checkmend.com/uk

Working Phones:

Each mobile phone sold should match the make and model in the sale order and meet the following conditions:

• The phone must switch on and off
• The phone must make and receive phone calls
• The phone must not have any security or pin codes
• The phone must be complete with all battery covers and bodywork.
• The integral body work should have no cracked, missing plastics / metal and there should be no missing buttons.
• The body work should not be hanging off the main body of the phone in any way.
• The LCD must be working and power up correctly and fully beyond the network 'Welcome Note', the screen intact with no cracks.
• The LCD must have no lines or missing pixels
• The screen must be intact with no cracks
• Phones should not have liquid damage.
• A white screen does not constitute a working phone.
• If the phone has a touch screen the touch screen must be fully functional.
• The battery should be included and hold charge.
• Basically the phone must have not faults to be paid the "working price"
• Iphones must be of UK origin and not have been jailbroken/ unlocked and have no pin codes. The back housing must also be intact and not cracked.
• The Mobile phone must also not be registered as lost, stolen or barred (for any reason including non payment) on any world wide network, we check phones by www.checkmend.com/uk

Non working phones:

• Must not be snapped in half
• Must not be crushed in anyway
• Must at least "power on"
• The Mobile phone must also not be registered as lost, stolen or barred (for any reason including non payment) on any world wide network, we check phones by www.checkmend.com/uk

If a non working phone is received that has any of the above non working faults no money will be paid at all for the phone and we will tell you this, you can request the phone back within 7 days of the e-mail.

After this it will be recycled for you for free.

If you upload an order with a phone that you have classed as "working" and we test it and find it to be faulty, we will tell you this and supply you with the fault reason and revised price for your phone by e-mail and text . You have 7 days to request we re-test the phone or decline our offer in writing (by e-mail is fine) and request that we send your phone is returned to you

. If you do not reply within 7 days we will process your order at the revised price and send you a cheque.

If you request the phone back when it has failed testing (when you upload it as working and it is faulty) We will return it for FREE

If you upload an order with a phone that you have classed as "Brand new Boxed" and we test and check it and find it not be "brand new boxed", we will tell you this and supply you with the fault reason and revised price for your phone by e-mail and text. You have 7 days to decline our offer in writing (by e-mail is fine) and request that we send your phone is returned to you.

If you do not reply within 7 days we will process your order at the revised price and send you payment.


When placing the recycling order you will either select to view and print our freepost address or request that we send you a freepost jiffy bag through the post, in the jiffy bag will be a comprehensive guide to posting your phone.

We recommend that you send the phone back by a trackable, traceable insured method as we are not responsible for phones lost in the post and will not pay out for them:

1st Class Freepost (we pay for postage, not trackable or insured)
1st Class Freepost (+ FREE proof of posting from Post Office) Not trackable but insured up to £34
1st Class Freepost (+You pay for 75p for recorded delivery at post office) Trackable once delivered and insured upto £34
Royal Mail Special delivery (next day delivery insured up to £500)

www.blackberryrecycling.co.uk accepts no responsibility for any phones that do not arrive via either postal method and we will not pay out for any phone not received.

Please note that if you use Freepost to send your mobile phones it can take up to 5 working days to reach us.


Our site is only intended for use by people registered with us and resident in Great Britain and Northern Ireland., and any contract formed between us will be governed in all respects by UK law. At our complete discretion we may accept or reject orders from people outside of these territories.

Your contract with us will be concluded when we receive your "sell instruction" and will be subject to all our terms and conditions. Please click on the "How It Works" page for more information.

You must be the legal owner of the phone(s), that you send to us, and declare that no interests in the phone(s) are held by third parties

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ARE HAPPY TO SEND THE PHONE TO US AND THAT IT IS WITHIN YOUR RIGHTS TO DO SO

Any contract between us will be fulfilled when the phone (s) are received by us and we send payment to you, at which time legal ownership of the phone will pass to us.

Your contract with us, or any rights or obligations connected with it may not be transferred or disposed of without our prior written consent.


You may cancel the contract with us up to the time when you send us the phone ("cooling- off period"), provided such cancellation is notified to us in writing to BlueSky (GB) LTD, Airlink House, 18-22 Pump Lane, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 3NB or by e-mail to within 7 days of your "sell instruction" You need give us no reason for the cancellation, nor will you be responsible for any administration charges.

You may cancel the contract with us if upon delivery to us, we advise you, the phone does not conform to the description you applied to it in your "sell instruction" and we wish to revise the amount we will pay. In the event you exercise this right to cancel, your phone(s) will be returned to you.

We may cancel the contract, if upon delivery to us, the phone(s) do not conform to the description you have applied to them, and or, they do not meet the terms and conditions which formed part of the contract

We may cancel the contract if upon delivery to us, the phones are found to be the subject of theft copyright, or other illegality.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUPPLY SECTION AS THESE TERMS FORM AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE CONTRACT BETWEEN US. THE TERMS DETAIL THE OBLIGATIONS WE HAVE TO EACH OTHER IN RELATION TO THE PHONES, THEIR DESCRIPTION ETC.


Please note that it is your responsibility to remove data from your mobile phone(s) before you send them to us. Such data includes, for example, personal details, SMS, photos, games, songs or any other data.

Note that we accept no responsibility in relation to the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data and it is your responsibility to ensure that such data is removed from your phone prior to sending it to us. Any data found on any phone will be deleted upon testing.


You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own use on the following basis:
no documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way;
no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and
any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.
Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by us or our licensors. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, any use of extracts from this Website for any purpose is prohibited. If you breach any of the terms in these terms and conditions, your permission to use this Website automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from this Website.

To register with sell-my-phone you must be over eighteen years of age or, If you are under 18 years of age, that you have obtained your parent's or guardian's consent to sell your phone to blackberryrecycling Each registration is for a single user only. We do not permit you to share your user name and password with any other person nor with multiple users on a network. Responsibility for the security of any passwords issued rests with you and if you know or suspect that someone else knows your password, you should contact us immediately. We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these terms and conditions.


While we endeavour to ensure that the information on this Website is correct, we do not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on this Website. We may make changes to the material on this Website, or to the products and prices described in it, at any time without notice. The material on this Website may be out of date, and we make no commitment to update such material.

We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the mobile phone(s) you have agreed to supply. We will send you a confirmation by email once we have received your phone(s). We may refuse to accept an offer of supply: if there has been a pricing or product description error; or if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions.


All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rate. We reserve the right to change prices with out notice, but all orders placed prior to a price change will be honoured at the agreed price when the order is placed. Current 'pending' orders are valid for 7 days after the order has been placed. We will send you an email notifying you that your order has been accepted when we receive your mobile phones. If we receive your phone after this 7 day period we reserve the right to change the price of your phone(s) to reflect the new price (either upwards or downwards) if prices have changed during this period
